4th of July

We were so excited to be able to spend the 4th with our extended family this year. We headed to Idaho Thursday night to stay with grandma and grandpa and see all the cousins. The men woke up early Friday to get a little shooting in before breakfast, which my boys love. The bayonet on the end of the gun Darin's shooting looks a little scary. Dillon loves to spend time with his grandpa, uncles and his Dad skeet shooting.

I hear Truxton has a really good shot and he's quite the fisherman.

Once the guys got home swimming all afternoon was on the agenda. Between the tramp, pool and hot tub at grandmas the kids were in heaven.

Truxton was definately #1 for the darkest tan!!

Dillon could not get enough he took on anyone who would fight back. Go Sara!!

Good thing Carlie was keeping Sophie safe. We love the big cousins.

The girls love the pool, they stayed in there for hours.

Gotta love the McOmbers...

Seth and Trux just hangin out all weekend!

Dillon finally met his match with Uncle Jace. Good luck buddy, there's no savin you now.

I love my Mom and Dad! What great hosts to have so many of us there!

Sara and her cute little kids Halle and Porter.

Show us those big guns little boys!

I was going to help you Tara, but I figured a picture would be easier. :)

Carl and Seth

Love you two! Thanks for so much fun!

The men finally got the pool to themselves, but Carl got a little ripped on the relaxing floaties. Jace is never to be trusted standing behind. They were all dumped after the shot.

All smiles...

After the clouds came out all the kids washed their feet off and jumped in the the hot tub. We finally drug grandma out of the kitchen to pose for a picture. Love you mom. She really says she likes all the chaos!?

The food was great all weekend. Dad and Jace on the grill.

We even threw a few birthdays in the mix of the weekend. Happy Birthday Max and Porter!

I love it when my kids are happy having fun.

4th of July 2009

Parade, barbecue and fireworks on Saturday...
The fireworks show was amzing! Idaho Falls fireworks show is ranked 17th in the country for the best performance. It brings back lots of fun memories. I'm so glad my kids were able to be here to carry on my families traditions on the 4th this year. They loved it!

Everyone was camped out forever. Thanks to my Uncle John and his family for such a great spot, we sure appreciated it. It was fun to see all of my cousins and there kids.

A little Ninja Destruction waiting for the fireworks to start.

What a fun weekend. Love you Darin!

Glad Brodi and Lisa could make it.

Thanks Mom and Dad! Love you!

Love Dad's flowers!!! Lots of work, imagine what it could be like if you were retired Dad. :)
